Shell owners appealed to the city to amend the current land use bylaw, allowing the Banff Shell location to be shared with the current automotive service and technician shop. The appeal was voted down due to the limited automotive shops servicing the local area, thus only allowing asset replacement and minor upgrades rather than a commercial build-out. The commercial build out would have included new retail space bringing the Shell location up to industry standards.

Lymburn Petro-Canada project featured an entire rebranding of the existing station from Esso to Petro-Canada. As part of this scope, new underground storage tanks were put in place, along with new four courts, canopy and resurfacing of asphalt. In addition, interior upgrades to the existing corner store were completed as part of the rebranding.
This project was a collaboration with BGIS in Calgary, Alberta. When working with existing project managers, project scope can be anywhere from interior renovation to full fuel tank replacement and four court installation. In this case, the 17th avenue Shell in a central location in downtown Calgary and requires finesse to minimize disturbances to an already busy area. Interior renovations performed to upgrade station.
The West Kelowna Shell station received a full replacement of the underground storage tanks responsible for storing fuel. Along with the replacement of the tanks, new dispensers were also put in, following canopy shoring and upgrades.
