The Banff Husky is a 37,000 sqft 6 island fueling area with a custom weather canopy and underground fuel storage. Parke Pacific Projects completed the construction for this highly detailed retail petroleum facility. Located within the heart of the Banff township and national park, natural materials like native vegetation, rundle stone and heavy timbers − both interior and exterior were used in the development to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
Spacious fueling areas permit ease of access for larger vehicles, while convenience food, grocery and specialty items and the adjoining A&W restaurant are inclusive amenities that provide convenience and comfort. Husky truly endorsed going “outside the box” on this project, by not only supporting the national park and the town’s alpine-themed design requirements but by focusing on the specific needs of their local customers. The interior construction at this location incorporated several new ideas, that went above and beyond the prototypical convenience store. A new layout, new look and new products and amenities all to cater to Husky customers seeking the true “Banff” experience.
