Kahkewistahâw Gas & Convenience was upgraded in 2019. Parke Pacific Projects replaced all of the dispensers and installed a new MID (Main Identification) sign. This was an architecturally designed building for the Kahkewistahâw First Nation in which natural design aspects were achieved through mass timber, cultured stone and SIP ‘Structural Insulated Panels) were utilized. This building also comprised an additional retail unit which provided additional revenue for the nation.
It is the only First Nations gas and convenience store operating on First Nations land within Yorkton. We had the pleasure of working with Jeff Balon and Mik Cupial from Calico Advisory Services.
